Bou Houjicha

Houjicha is a roasted green tea from Japan. It is made by roasting domestic tea stems (stick tea) and has long been popular in the Kaga region, where it is said to have originated.

Due to the roasting, the green tee loses a huge amount of its caffeine and other characteristics so that you get a tee with less sour components and caffeine. Houjicha is drunken hot and cold among all ages.

The preparation is very simple:

  • Hot: Pour hot water over 2 spoons tea leaves and brew for 15 seconds.
  • Cold: Brew 5-10g tea in one litre water for about 2-3 3minutes.

Content: 200g (Loose tea leaves, no tea bags!)
