Hijiki is a brown seaweed which is very popular in Japan, but also in China and Korea, and used in different kinds of food.

Preparation (for 10g)

  • Was the dried Hijiki a bit by using a colander
  • Putt the washed Hijiki into a bowl with 1 litre of water (20°C or more) for about 30 minutes so that they get back its shape.
    (The water might get brown which is absolutely normal. You don't need to worry about that nor to wash the Hijiki again)
